Does this smart thermostat work with HVAC systems?
No, the product is NOT compatible with 24V HVAC systems, such as heat pumps or traditional air conditioning systems. Additionally, it is NOT compatible with electric underfloor heating systems.
What systems is this product compatible with?
The device casing dimensions (118 x 75 x 43mm) are ONLY suitable for North America. It can only be used with 100v-240v electric heating systems, such as baseboard heaters, convector heaters, and fan-forced heaters.
About the inaccurate detection of the temperature may occur and how to go about solving it?
The sensor is directly under the casing and can be affected by nearby heat sources. Adjust the installation position or use the Meross app to calibrate the product for accurate temperature detection.

PERFECT SMART THERMOSTAT! Work on Alexa!!
First of all I want to say these are well designed units & set up easily.I have old style 220v baseboard heaters with knob thermostat controls. The baseboard heaters never wear out but old thermostats needed replaced. I chose 2 brands (Mysa & Meross) to try. The Meross Models were my favorite mainly because of the App and the MTS215 was smaller & looked great on my wall!Review:MTS215 Setup: This was super easy & connected to my WiFi with no problems. Alexa added automatically to my Alexa Home system and the Meross App was amazing! I have seen where others have connected directly to the heaters but I suggest to place up the wall & bit away from the baseboard. Get a knowledgeable person to do this wiring.Operation: I have no issues with all my units. Flawless! The Meross App is where the magic happens with these smart WiFi thermostats. The App allows temperature display calibration (offset) adjustments which makes it possible to match all temperature settings in your home. This is important when telling Alexa to set Heater Group to a specific temperature. Also the app has brightness control which is important if using in a bedroom. The power meter on the Meross App is a game changer. It lets you see in real time your baseboard energy use and calculates cost (kWh)each day.Conclusion:I would recommend a licensed electrician to install wiring because these units need to be set a few feet up the wall & away from the heater. But once correctly wired they work & look great! I plan on eventually buying Meross thermostats for all heaters in my home.

Best electric baseboard smart thermostat on the market
I have to say I am very impressed so far with these Smart thermostats. First off they look good and simple and comparable to the mysa smart thermostats but for less money exactly $100 less. You can’t beat that. I was a bit skeptical but after using for a full 24 hours and monitoring them they are holding up perfectly. The size of the thermostat was the perfect size and fit for replacing the old ones, I didnt need to do anything or modify anything they fit just right. I love the simplicity of the controls it is very easy to read and use, you can’t get more user friendly than these smart thermostat. The display is bright and easy to read without clutter or a lot of display distractions. Temperature control and selection is a no brainier and the app makes it even easier to control and monitor. As for wifi connectivity, I did have a little issue but it was mostly Alexa linking that took a bit but after i got it to link it works flawlessly. Alexa can tell me the room generator and what the thermostat is set to and can also change the temperature settings for me and that is a plus. Wifi connectivity is working well with no issues after taking maybe about 10 minutes in connecting them to the app. When it comes to Value for money, well let me just say that it works just like if not a little better then the mysa thermostat I had just $100 dollars cheaper. I was frustrated that i couldn’t find a comparable smart thermostat until i found these. The installation was easy the instructions easy to follow, I definitely recommend these for anyone that have Electric Baseboards.

Very good thermostat for baseboard heater
I work from home and have a small office around 8×8, in past I had to turn on the heat in entire floor to heat up that one room. Based on the research I got an electric baseboard heater and this thermostat to control the heater. I have a ton of Meross products including the smart plugs, usually they are very reliable with occasional connection drop off.Installing the baseboard was not a DIY installation as I had to hire an electrician to install the hardwired baseboard and the thermostat. If you have a baseboard already installed I think it’s relatively straightforward to install the thermostat. Connection was a breeze and I was able to add the thermostat to Apple Home. So far so good and I am not only saving in energy costs but am also able to heat up the room from my bed before starting work.

Works as advertised
I have old electric base boards and the unit had the old dial controls. Switched them out with this thermostat to have more control of the temperature. Love that it shows the temperature in the home as well as has the option to set temperatures for when the heat should kick in at. The app is easy to use. And having the compatibility search before buying took the guess work out of buying.The instructions were easy to follow for install as well.

I got this Meross MTS215MA to replace my old classic thermostat, and it’s been a really good upgrade.Installation was simple and the setup went smoothly. It paired quickly in the Meross app, and since it works with Matter, it showed up right away in Apple Home. Now I can adjust the temperature from my phone or just ask Siri — super handy.The thermostat itself looks sleek and modern, with a nice glass front and clear display. I also like that it automatically turns off the heat if it senses a window open — smart little feature that saves energy.I did have a small connection issue at first, but it turned out my phone was on the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. I have been using this product for about a week now and it greatly improved the comfort of my bedroom.It was easy to install and set up; there is also a compatibility tool on their website to help you identify if the thermostat will work for your case.It’s design is modern and there are lots of functionality that can be done in the app, like controlling the brightness of the screen in standby (when no clicks are being performed in the unit for some time) and active mode; You can schedule the temperature for specific periods of the day and specific days; check energy consumption/cost; child lock the screen;You can also preset 3 temperatures settings for comfort, sleep and economy that can be used if switching directly from the unit.I recommend it!
