Simple Curtains That Actually Block Light
These curtains do a good job for what they’re meant to be. They don’t make the room pitch black, but they definitely cut down a lot of light and give you some privacy, which is really what most people need in a kitchen. The fabric feels decent—not super heavy, but not cheap either—and they hang nicely once you get them up. The grommets slide easily on the rod, so opening and closing them isn’t a hassle.Only thing is if you’re expecting full blackout, these aren’t quite that—but for “room darkening,” they’re right on target.Overall, they’re a solid, no-fuss option that look good and work as expected.

True blackout curtains with beautiful color options
These blackout curtains are fantastic. The photos I attached were taken at the exact same time of day, and the difference speaks for itself. They truly block out the light, which has made a big impact in my toddler’s room — especially for naps and early bedtimes. The quality is excellent. They’re well made and feel durable, but not overly heavy or stiff like some blackout curtains can be. They hang nicely and instantly elevated the look of the room while still being very functional.I also ended up purchasing a gray set for our master bedroom, and the colors are beautiful in both spaces. It’s nice to have options that work for different rooms while still providing the same blackout performance.Overall, these are a great combination of style and function — they look nice, feel well made, and most importantly, they actually block the sun so sleep is much easier.

Decent blinds
These NICETOWN blackout curtains are a great value for the price. The fabric feels thicker than expected and does a really good job blocking light—my room stays much darker in the morning. They also seem to help with temperature control, which is a nice bonus.Installation was easy with the grommets, and they hang nicely right out of the package. There were a few wrinkles at first, but they smoothed out after a day or two.Not 100% pitch black (a little light can come through the edges), but overall they perform really well. Definitely a solid choice for a bedroom.

Exactly as described
Absolutely great quality. Keeps the cold out and are to speck. They look amazing in our living room. Nice and dark when you want to watch a movie and keep the light out

Highest quality curtains I’ve had
I’ve never had blackout curtain that actually work. Most of the ones I’ve tried always let in slivers of light, and were very lightweight feeling. When I received them, they were heavy, like quality high end curtains should be. I’ve tested them for sound insulating, and for heat containing/ light containment. All of them have worked to perfection! No light in room, beautiful shiny finish, soft to the touch. I will continue ordering these every time I need new ones. I have 4 sets!

Good curtains
We’ve had these at a couple apartments now. The first we used these for both light blocking and keeping some heat out. They were very good at the blackout, and not as good at blocking heat, although that room was kind of a sauna. In their current spot, they do an excellent job blocking morning sunlight. They were super easy to hang on the curtain rod and cover a normal sized window pretty well. Good for the price.

Great product
The best budget curtains ever. I spent $10 on the black ones, wasn’t expecting much because of the price however the quality is extremely nice. & it actually blocks out heat & sunlight!

I love these curtains. They’re so soft and thick – the quality is evident. I have several photos here.My apartment faces east, so I get the sunrise, and super bright mornings until the sun is high enough in the sky that it’s not coming straight into my apartment. So the first photo is of just my regular curtains closed, around 8am. These are not “sheer” curtains. They’re actually solid dark green/blue with a white coated back. When the sun hits, they are practically see-through.When I got these new curtains, I got double rods too, SO – second pic is left side Nicetown curtains closed OVER the regular curtains, and right side ONLY the Nicetown curtains closed. Next pic, I turned off the light so you can see better. So light is still coming through, with just the Nicetown curtains alone. But compared to the first pic, it is just about night and day. Next pic is both sides, both curtains closed. Total blackout, except the light coming from above and below.I did similar comparisons around 10am. The light comes through the Nicetown ones a little more at that hour when the daylight is less glowy and a little more bright white.Lastly, from the kitchen I took a shot where you can see one room with the curtains wide open and also the living room with the curtains closed. I think it looks darker in this one because of how bright the other side of the photo is. It’s not actually pitch black in the other room (it’s an open room and there’s a light on) – but the difference is still huge.SO! I will keep using my regular curtains when I just need to keep the sun from glaring in my eyes or off the screen. But if I want to have a horror movie marathon that begins at sunrise, now I can :)I would recommend the double rods and a cheap set of regular curtains to go behind them if you want the light to be fully blacked out.And the higher and longer you have the curtains, the less the light will come in from the top and bottom.Edit: the photos aren’t showing in the order I had added them, so first second and so on notes in the review are moot. They’re all jumbled, but you can figure out the timeline from the photo captions.

The product is excellent. Really blocks out the light. I unfortunately ordered the wrong width and Boudica Shipment Customer Service has been very helpful in processing my refund.

Great Quality at an AMAZING price. Will definitely purchase these again in another colour when renovating the next room. Fresh Green is very true to colour on screen. Ordered Olive to go with it and returned as the colour was not even close to what is shown. But still beautiful.
