Simple to use and install. If you like to program then it’s not for you. But if you need a single stage heat and cool that’s easy to install, use and read then this one’s for you.

Good product and works well, it is simple but has some good features. It has a calibration mode, so you can calibrate it to the correct room temp. It also has a “heat swing” setting so you can program it for longer or shorter furnace cycles. I find the backlight is also very useful, no more turning on a light to see when changing temps.

This thermostat is exactly what I wanted for my garage furnace that its original analog thermostat has stopped working. This new digital one was easy to install with my 2 wire only system and works perfectly with batteries installed! It even mounts right to the wall outlet box where the old one was for a nice neat install!

It’s a bit complicated to set up – because it has SO MANY connection options. But that’s also a plus. All those connection options means you can use it with pretty well any kind of system.The main downside is the lack of hysteresis. It will turn on the heat when the temperature drops 0.01 deg below the set point and then turn the heat back off when the temperature is 0.01 deg to the set point. Result is that it will cycle your heat on/off every couple of minutes. Makes it hard on forced air heating systems.
