It’s a simple thermostat that’s easy to read and use. Quality is good and measure temperature accurately. Batteries last a long time so even if you can’t power it from your unit you don’t have to constantly worry about batteries.

No Frills Solid Value
I purchased this thermostat to accompany my hydronic sensor. It was very easy to install. My system is heat only and has 2 wires (no C wire), therefore no reasonable WiFi choices are available. In my setup I have one for each of three zones, and they basically act as on-off switches at an upper limit point; the hydronic room sensor does the rest. For battery-only operation, these have reasonably good display visibility. They do the job, which is quite simple in my case.

Installed easy and works well,,Old Thermostat stayed on and off too long so Temperature in home wasn’t very stable,,Set on 73 it would go down to 69 and not turn back on until 76 degrees,,This one the temperature stays at 73 more or less,,

SO MUCH EASIER.
Nice light background makes the black temp readings so much easier to read than my fancy Programmable been backlit one. At 84nyears old I don’t need all the programmable features. The up-down, on-off, heat and cool is just what we need band I don’t have the frustration of having to figure out how to use.

Why did I wait so long !
It was time to replace my thermostat, ours was 20 years old. Purchased this and my spouse let it sit on the shelf until ours completely died, of course during super cold weather. Had this hooked up in less than 5 minutes! Super easy install, the LED display is large enough for aging eyes made us both wonder why we waited so long.. well I know I did because hubby put it off lol. We are both pleased.

Backlight is DOA.
I just installed this and everything works fine except the back light. No matter how much I hit the plus and minus buttons the back light rarely comes on. If I tap the unit itself hard it might come on but it only blinks… it doesn’t stay lit at all.
