Great product and great company to deal with, easy set up!
Received this three sensor weather station for testing and a review. What led me to this device was the multiple sensors and the range stated, up to 500 feet! Functionality wise and ease o0f set up wise, a breeze! The first picture is what is in the box, the base unit and the three sensors, set up next to each other for comparison of their respective temperature and humidity points. Connectivity was easy, basically turn on and in one case press a button to link togetherThe next two pictures were the devices spread out, while i did not go to the full 500 foot distance, I did take them out to about 200 feet and still no issues for he base unit to maintain connectionThe display is fully dimmable if need and the image quality is what is to be expected, color, legible and display quality for price makes it very easy to read from across the room. This unit is “weather predictor ” based on trends it monitors, its predictions have been about 90% accurate which in my opinion is better than the television weather persons predictions!

OBET Weather Station provides quick temperature and humidity check
I had previously used ThermoPro/ThermPro TP-65A units (6 Base units and many remote units – Some were gifts to family) with remotes using replaceable batteries and built-in rechargeable batteries. They worked fine for many years, but outside remotes eventually fail and I have purchased replacements in the past. When searching for additional new temp/humidity remotes in February/March 2026 they seemed to be in the process of being phased-out. I widened my search to include newer base temperature/humidity modules and decided I preferred the units providing local and remote temp/humidity in color using a larger screen. The TermoPro remotes would not always connect to base stations although they were well within the stated distance range. I would have to move remotes around after changing the designation switch (1 – 2 – 3) to get them to connect to base units. The four OBET units I have purchased each came with 3 temp/humidity remotes and all connected automatically. All operate with an external 5VDC power supply (not required – user provided) allowing the screen to be “on” continuously allowing a quick check of temp/humidity without having to touch a button on the unit. The OBET temp/humidity units are superior to the ThermoPro units due to easy readability and color difference for each designated remote unit. My spouse likes the green color of the display for the remote temp/humidity unit she checks to decide if she needs a jacket before going outside.

    Great little Weather Station.
I have been using the baby brother to this unit from this same company for some time now and been very happy with it. It does not have the weather sections on it and it’s not color, just LCD monochrome. I was invited to try this color version out and I am very happy with the results. It sets up super easy and looks great. And unlike my older, more expensive La Crosse color stations, this unit has 3 remotes plus the readout on the main unit so you can monitor 4 locations at once where the La Crosse only has the one remote. And the distance you can set up the remotes is really unbelievable. I set one up in a garage at the back of my property which is about 150 feet away and made of block and it reads out perfectly after going through the block and the brick on my house. That’s pretty amazing. It has fairly large digits, is very versatile and the screen readout looks great. My only 2 complaints on this unit is that it does not have a Date and Time section which I like having but is OK at this price. The other thing is the power supply plug style. This one has a very small proprietary round type plug rather than the USB-C type that has become so common. If you ever lose this supply or it goes bad, you will probably have a hard time finding a replacement that fits it which will leave you with the battery only option and I am tired of having to change expensive batteries all the time. It’s not a big deal, but with everything going to USB-C, I don’t know they wouldn’t on this unit as well. Overall I am extremely impressed and happy with this unit and I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice little Weather Station at a great price. One note however: the remote units for this station are the same as for the smaller non-color baby brother like I have so you CANNOT run more than 3 remotes at the same time without causing some confusion. Either one can only read 3 remotes at a time so with 6 going, who knows what will be reading where? I doubt many people would ever run into this but just a heads up. I can still use the smaller station but I can only have 3 remotes going at a time so both stations will show the same remotes readout. So, I guess I now have 3 spare remotes for in the future!

Very good unit with one caveat to make proper use
This is a revision of my prior review. In that review I faulted Obet concerning operation of the screen dimming button. With help from Obet support and a 2nd unit I was able to determine that it does work with just a little unexpected difficulty. There is no push button there and nothing there pressure sensitive. It is another kind of sensor, probably capacitive. It does work fine if you slide your finger over the light bulb symbol slowly from side to side The display is easy to see with the backlight, and all 3 temp sensors work well. I also think that there is little liklihood of screen burn-in since it is a passive LCD display. It comes with a very nice manual. Thanks to Obet for the support.

I was impressed with the quality, accuracy, performance, and features of this equipment. The multi color display is large and sharp with temperature ( F or C deg.), rel. humidity, trend arrows, barometer, and forecast. Temperatures read to 0.1 degree. The remote sensors reliably transmit to the base station from inside my refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen and a separate chest type freezer in the garage. NOTE: they say the remote sensors are not fully waterproof so I put them in zip-lock bags to protect them but this stops the relative humidity from changing. Base station still shows accurate relative humidity.

With a 7.87″ colour display and three wireless sensors capable of connecting from up to 500ft away, this B66 stand-alone weather station by OBET will monitor temperature, humidity and air pressure to help forecast weather conditions over the next 12 hours. The backlight display monitor is powered via the included USB-C to barrel-plug cable or via 3xAA batteries (not included). Note that you can change the temperature monitoring from °F to °C, and it has alert settings for temperature and humidity levels. The display monitor case is all plastic, and unfortunately, the frame portion is gloss black plastic, which was fairly scuffed out of the box on my unit. Matte black plastic on the frame would have been a better choice. The screen itself is clear and has good viewing angles and two levels of brightness (the third is off). The three included sensors are each powered by 2xAA batteries (not included), and at this point, I haven’t tested the sensors for an extended period of time to estimate how long they’ll last. I found the sensors, when used indoors, to be fairly accurate, at least in comparison to other monitoring devices I have in my home. The sensor specifications note they should be good to -50°C. While testing and monitoring the outdoor sensor for 24 hours, the reported temperature seemed accurate however, there was a 20pt delta in the humidity reading versus other sensors I have. Note, the OBET B66 sensors are IPX4 and, therefore, only splash resistant – so any placement outdoors must be in well-protected areas to avoid direct sunlight and/or contact with rain or snow. I had no issues with sensors syncing to the main station and I should note there is no iOS or Android app, this is a standalone only device which may or may not be preferable to you.Overall, priced below $50 at the time of this review, I think this combination of weather station & thermometer monitor may be premium priced based on the overall build quality and the lower IPX4 rating for outdoor use here in Canada. If you are looking for a stand-alone device without an App integration, it is still a recommended buy based on my limited time testing and reviewing it – however, you may wish to watch for a discount.

  7. Mainstream Sellout

This is a very handy C/F indoor and outdoor weather station that measures temperature, humidity, and pressure. It includes three wireless and compact sensors to place inside and/or outside the home and the home screen that displays the readings from the different sensors as well as a forecast. The range is impressive, I haven’t had any issues with connectivity between the sensors and the screen with the sensors throughout the levels and rooms of our home. It is quite easy to use and customize and thankfully it can be changed to Celcius or Farenheit. The battery life has been great so far, we haven’t had to recharge the station since setting it up a month ago.The screen is easy to read, which is a step up from our previous weather station which didn’t illuminate at all and was unreadable in dimmly lit spaces or with the glare of the sun, this one has a good contrast between the black screen backround and the multicolored text enumeration and the brightness is adjustable! It seems to be very accurate thus far and we have no complaints in its performance, hopefully it will hold up in performance and battery life in the long term.

I am absolutely delighted with my experience with this weather station. It is SO SIMPLE to use to get real-time weather measurements. No internet required, no need to download an app, no subscription model. Just a simple interface that gives you some really cool results in real-time. However, if you want something connected to your Smart Home system, or to auto-record data – this is probably not for you.Things I liked about this weather station:I have been using this weather station over the past week. I’ve set up the base at my front door, and placed just one remote sensor outside. (I plan on setting up two other sensors later in the season.) The base immediately recognizes the sensor – no pairing devices, or set-up with the Internet or an app. The weather station has been able to accurately detect approaching / ongoing snow storms. The large screen base is an easy reference to check weather before leaving home. Yes, I could check the forecast on my phone or ask Alexa, but (1) it’s faster to just look at the screen than to navigate to the weather app, and (2) the results are literally accurate to my doorstep.I like that it monitors air pressure and humidity. It shows whether conditions are increasing, decreasing or remaining constant. I get headaches when air pressure is high so this can help me prepare. The base also acts as a sensor, so you can monitor conditions inside. I don’t have a smart thermostat and not planning on getting one, so these are great pluses for me.Potential Limitations:The sensors are fairly small. You’ll have to be strategic of where to place them / how to secure them in place. (My irrational fear is that a squirrel is going to run away with one.) Also, the sensors require AA batteries (not included). I don’t know how long it will last – although one week in, no issues during a cold and snowy February in Canada.Overall: Awesome product. I highly recommend.
