PT6508 psychrometer HVAC is a new type of digital temperature and humidity meter, which is designed to combine the functions of a humidity meter, temperature meter, wet bulb temperature, and dew point temperature. And dew point is a measure of how much water vapor is actually in the air.
Dual display humidity and temperature with accurate measuring: Humidity range: 0% – 100%RH. Temperature range: -20℃(-4℉) – 60℃(140℉). Dew point Temperature :-50℃(-58℉) – 60℃(140℉). Wet Bulb Temperature:-20℃(-4℉) – 60℃(140℉).
Digital psychrometers are used for a high range of applications HVAC, including industry, agriculture, meteorology, medicine, daily life, building engineering, paranormal investigator, the wine cellar, machine room, and data storeroom.

Took a chance on this not well-known brand. I’ve been using this in my HVAC career. It is accurate and very easy to use. I can honestly say it’s the best hygrometer I’ve tried yet. It has regular dry bulb and relative humidity readings.. It also has dew point and wet bulb temperature readings. And many other features also. For the he price, this one is a winner

wish i had this sooner – outstanding for home use
i used this tool to verify that i in fact would benefit from installing a very expensive Aprilaire 800 humidifier ( with the installation it was over 2 thousand dollars ) …my worthelss Extech hygrometer ( the home model with big screen ) was telling me that all isn’t so bad but my cracked skin was telling me otherwise …this Protmex confirmed that my skin was telling me the truth and that humidity was abysmal – i went ahead with Aprilaire 800 installation and it was just game changing – no more sore throat, dry eyes, cracked skin etc …one annoyance is it always starts in Celsius and you have to press the button to switch to F … wish it remembered my preference.but it’s overall well made, 10 times more accurate than Extech and 100 times faster.Extech ( the home model with big screen ) would take about half an hour to stabilize on a ( wrong ) reading when moved from room to room. This unit takes maybe 30 seconds to stabilize on a good reading. When moving from room to room the reading starts changing literally within a second or two of entering a different room ! ! ! It is SO sensitive ! For example if you walk into a bathroom after somebody took a shower there the numbers will start climbing the very moment you walk into that room ! And about 30 seconds later they will pretty much stabilize at a new reading unless the temperature is also different. It takes longer ( about 5 minutes ) when there is a difference in room temperature.all in all outstanding for home use. don’t know if it’s good enough for professional use.

This thing is really a great tool for the price.. as a hvac-r technician having the right tools is crucial when diagnosing a problem especially in ac season. I needed a hygrometer for a job to prove that the reason for all the ric were condensing and spilling out on to the floor was the amount of humidity in the store at that moment.. I don’t ever buy cheap tools especially meters. I have Testo guage, probes, multimeter, thermal imaging camera, leak detector, micrometer guage, pyrometer, scale, manometer, and so forth that link to the Testo smart app so I can monitor everything right from my phone.. love it. But seeing as this is the first time I needed one in years I was not wanting to spend $500 bucks on a Testo that will just sit in the van.. after reading reviews and researching hygrometers I decided to give this a try and I’m glad I did. Works perfectly.. proved the dew point was causing the water on the floor and that the coolers were not leaking… professional meter at a toys-r-us price..

This is a brilliant little tool for identifying relative humidity within the property and calculating the dew point. It’s an added bonus that it provides the wet bulb reading! I have purchased a few of these and this one was the cheapest and works the best! It’s also a sturdy little device.

Fonctionne bien, lecture rapide, précis. Nous avons trouvé des pertes de chaleur à des endroits exiguës , et d’une grande précision. La lecture nous indique précisément l’endroit où nous avons une perte de chaleur (un endroit précis sur le mur est plus froid à l’intérieur). Très bien!
