So nice, I bought it twice!
These lights are smaller than the clunky bedside lamps we had in the bedroom, leaving more space for other devices, valet tray, etc.They were inexpensive enough to buy two, and although we mostly set them to red for bedtime they have a full RGB color range which is neat (including a cycling color function which is pretty cool). The touch sensor in the base is also a convenient feature and they can be easily moved when you hold them from the top without tripping it.If you don’t mind that they are corded, the only somewhat negative is that since we use them primarily before bed they can be quite bright. Certainly enough to light up a room, but I crafted some shades from an old pair of jeans that slip over the top to be easier on the eyes; although the white light setting is dimmable, any RGB color is not.For the aesthetic, price, and functionality I couldn’t be happier.

Pretty Good Purchase
I have four of these in my wellness studio. After 3 years one of them stopped working (it stopped recognizing touch and it’s pretty much useless without that). I like that you can change the colors. Kind of wish it had a remote for faster color change but other than that I’ve been happy with them. They are great for dimming during treatments or events.

Great nightlight for kids room
I love this lamp for my grandchildren‘s room. It is completely covered over. The last one I had was open on the top and it was just way too much light. This one that is covered all over is much more subtle. The kids love how it will change colors at night. It is worth the money.

Smooth, Reliable Remote Makes This Lamp Better
The remote control is very responsive and easy to use. Buttons are clearly labeled, and it works instantly without lag. I like being able to adjust brightness, change colors, and turn the lamp on or off from bed. The range is solid, and it hasn’t had any connection issues. It makes the lamp much more convenient, especially for nighttime use.

Frustrated with this lamp
This lamp has some serious problems. I purchased (2) of them in one order. One for the kitchen and the other for the computer table.If I pick it up from the top and don’t touch the bottom sides, the lamp will shut off on it’s own, and if it’s off , it will turn on, on its own.If I lightly bump the lamp while moving it, it will freak out and go into a color spasm, and takes a bit to control it.A bit frustrating when handling the lamp. The lamp also goes into color mode on its own.Does not want to stay in the normal colored white, when first turning the lamp on.If I pick up the lamp to dust or even wipe the counter, this lamp tends to freak out and do whatever it wants to do,by either going to color mode, or turning off, even though I am nowhere near the bottom touch panel ring.The controls of the lamp are wonky at best.It’s a nice, cute lamp, but there are more frustrations with the lamp than need to be.I wish this lamp had a BT app controller. So I could turn it on and off via cell phone. That would have been nice.Sadly, it does not do that.Would I ever buy this particular lamp again? Most likely not.

So, once I finished reading the VERY short instructions using a microscope, here’s how I dealt with the lamp.1. You touch the “very sensitive panel” (which is in no way marked, so it either is the entire base or not) for two seconds. I think. This gives a white light.2. After a re-read of the instructions, I found out that if I want the light to be coloured, I have to touch the panel for undetermined amount of seconds, between 0.1 and 2. It will either switch off, or switch into color cycle mode.3. The color cycle mode consists of the lamp veeerrryyyy slowly going through all the available colours. It’s not possible to simply choose a colour. You have to wait until it gets where you want it to be. Then (this only took me 10 tries or so) figure out how to touch the very sensitive panel to stop the colours from cycling further. If you make a mistake, you have to wait for them to through through the entire hue cycle AGAIN.4. It always starts with blinding red. The lamp doesn’t memorise the colour.5. While the white light has three degrees of brightness, the coloured light doesn’t.6. It needs to be connected to an electricity outlet – there’s no battery.Overall, I enjoyed absolutely nothing about this lamp, I’m afraid, and I’m glad Amazon allows easy returns.
