Worked Great in Slider Track – Draft Gone
I added this weather stripping directly into the track of my sliding glass door, and it made a noticeable difference right away. I no longer feel a draft coming through the slider. The material is dense enough to block airflow but still flexible, and it stays in place well once installed. It didn’t interfere with the door sliding, which was my biggest concern.Installation was simple—just cleaned the area and pressed it in. It’s a great solution if you’re dealing with drafts coming through a sliding door track or frame. If you’re trying to improve insulation without bulky fixes, this definitely helps.

A much tighter seal than original.
Great quality to tighten up a drafty slider. Just make sure that you clean the surface really well.

Used to make closing doors quieter
Purchased this to make closing the doors in our house quieter. When someone is sleeping, no matter how slowly we try to close the doors, they would always make a tapping noise…from wood on wood. I cut a few strips and then placed them on the door jam…and now no more tapping. Had planned on running a strip all the way up and down the door but, realized that it only needed a couple of six inch strips…so had plenty for all the door. The tape was easy to remove and it is sticking to the door frame perfectly. Makes for a perfect soft closing of the doors.

Noise reduction
The felt tape worked perfectly in preventing my door from rattling when the window was open. It also seems to have helped insulate the door frame.

Helped reduce our power bill!
These weather strips were just what we needed in the 100-year old house we recently bought. The house has the original windows, and while we loved their authenticity, they weren’t very energy efficient. Sealing the areas that had cold air pouring in took no time, and they definitely helped reduce our power bill.
