I’ve been using these Sengled Dual Mode Smart Light Bulbs RGBW 2700K–6500K (4 Pack) for a few weeks and I’m really impressed. The setup was surprisingly fast and easy. I paired them with the remote in just a few seconds without needing Wi-Fi, which I really like because it feels more stable.The brightness and color temperature range is great. I can switch from warm light in the evening to bright white during the day. Perfect for the living room and bedroom. Overall, a great smart lighting option that’s simple and reliable.

ALEXA AND AMAZON HAVE GIVEN UP ON SENGLED LIGHTS – DO NOT BUY THEM
THESE BULBS NO LONGER WORK WITH ALEXA. As of today, July 29th 2025 Alexa says she no longer supports the Sengled brand of lights and suggests a few other brands to try. I based my whole house on Sengled lights a few years ago and have steadily added bulbs over time (because they are expensive). Now they don’t work at all and I feel like a sucker. Alexa berates me as if I don’t know what I’m talking about so don’t ask her about it. Amazon is no help at all other than refunding the latest batch I bought a couple weeks ago. WHY THEY STILL SELL THEM I DON’T KNOW.

Bought these for my bedroom and they are easily one of my favorite purchases. My husband and I decided to get cheap lamps and wanted to be able to control the lights easier since the new lamps had a very annoying on and off switch. These lightbulbs run off of an app, which solved this annoyance and made our lives so much easier. Not only that, but you can dim the lights, change the color, and even name and control each bulb individually, which has been a serious game changer when I like my light on but my husband does not want his. I am planning on buying more!

I think I’m done with Sengled
These made me realize I need to be forever done with Sengled. I bought these after not realizing these are Bluetooth and not Wifi, so I didn’t have the features I enjoy with the white light bulbs like scheduled lights, etc. That’s not what annoys me the most. What annoys me is how fickle they are and how many times I have to reconnect them. They’re like the white bulbs, with the problems amplified by a thousand. I’m typing this with one of the bulbs refusing to turn on even though the app says there are no connectivity issues. And yes, it’s plugged in.

Good If Your Internet Connectivity is Unstable. Local Mesh Smart Light Bulbs, Work Like the Borg.
While I love all my smart home features, it’s highly problematic to be unable to turn on of off my wall lights when we loose internet connectivity. We loose internet connectivity on a regular basis, and my Matter lights cannot be controlled through Alexa, although many of the brand apps do work in an internet outage. The issue is that I never remember which bulb brand is in what wall sconce, I mean that’s the whole point of Matter, I shouldn’t have to remember the specific hardware brand.Setting up these lights are easy, if you’ve ever set up any mesh devices. They basically automatically connect to devices around them the to create connections so that they create a network.Once the lights are connected, you can set up schedules through the app.I’ve put these in key locations in my home so that even during an Internet outage we have lights which are controllable digitally.

Well, first off, they’re Bluetooth bulbs, not Wi-Fi bulbs. That part is my fault, I’ll admit. What isn’t my fault:- In one of the packs I was sold, one bulb was not the same model as the rest, and did not connect through the app.- I requested through Amazon that the single bulb which was a different model be replaced, and the manufacturer did not reach back in a timely manner.- The app is quite poor because:- – The room controls only worked for turning all bulbs on or off, and did not work for changing the brightness, color, nor warmth of the bulbs.- – Upon creating a room in the app, I found there was no way to move bulbs over from the Default Room to the newly created room. I tried every single button on the room management and device management pages in the app.Ultimately, the bulbs themselves and the app both reflect poor quality, and I can imagine they are only rated as highly as they are because they’re cheap. I did not originally see that this is a “frequently returned item” and I intend on exploring other options for smart bulbs. I was initially excited to receive them, now I’m excited to get rid of them.

Nice colors.
We are using these down at our dock where we have to walk down to the dock to turn the lights on and off. Now we don’t have to to do that and they come on at night and automatically turn off in the morning. Love the color choices.
