A truly “comfy” footrest that is just right
The best way to describe this footrest is “comfy.” The foam is somehow both firm enough to feel substantial, yet soft enough to feel inviting and gentle. My feet sink into the foam just slightly, enough to soak up the heat and feel the gentle vibrations.I understand that this sort of massager is designed for under one’s desk at work. Since I wear lace-up shoes, it isn’t practical for me to take them off multiple times throughout the day. I’m always getting up from my desk and walking around. So I have been using this footrest at the recliner at day’s end. I have another more serious foot massager (also a Snailax) and I love using that for more intense and focused massaging when my feet are really worn out. This footrest is gentler. It has a lovely amount of heat that doesn’t roast my toes, instead warming them slowly and thoroughly. And the massage function really helps the heat relax my feet. It slowly and rather gently warms away fatigue and pain.I was initially surprised at the design, as the optional riser that lifts the footrest up higher (should you wish it to be higher) is also made of foam. But in usage it works just as designed and maintains its lightweight form factor while also having enough grip to keep from moving around on the luxury vinyl tile in my sitting room.Though I don’t always feel the need for a more aggressive massage (like I get from my foot massager), when I return home I look forward to kicking off my shoes and resting my feet on this very comfy footrest that welcomes me back and tells me to rest a bit.

I’m a ghostwriter for a living, so I spend A LOT of time at my desk (taking breaks in between). I also have back issues, which create a huge mess for me later in the afternoon as my sciatica runs down my right leg into the bottom of my foot and is very painful. I don’t want to take pain medication 24/7, so I looked at how I was sitting at my desk to improve my posture and footing.I’m average height (5’6″ and 150 pounds) and I use a Herman Miller chair, which is high quality. I noticed that my feet were not flat under the desk, so I purchased this foot rest, and wow! Am I glad I did!I like the three ways you can use the massage, although I only use the third setting, the heat also has levels, and this keeps my feet super toasty during the winter! It’s soft enough to feel comfortable but also gives great support.This definitely helps reduce my back pain! And I love that my feel feel great too! Such a good value for the money, I would highly recommend this for anyone who sits at a desk.

DO NOT PURCHASETHIS ITEM CAUGHT FIRE DURING NORMAL USEI’ve owned and used this item for about 4 months without issues. Today, within 30min of turning on, the heating element burnt a hole in the top of the pad. This item is dangerous and does not have overheat protection; stay away!

Pros:- Delivery arrived on time.- The delivery arrived very well packaged, safe, and secure.- Virtually no setup was needed.- This product boasts very sturdy construction, and nice, high-quality, comfortable fabric throughout.- The heating and vibration capability is very high quality. – This foot rest is portable and fits virtually anywhere. It can be easily removed and relocated to nearly any other chair, floor, ottoman, coffee table, etc. in the home.- The built in electronic controls are reliable and provide numerous customized settings.- The wiring and cables throughout the foot-rest are also heavy-duty and designed to last.Cons:It is difficult to think of many disadvantages of this product; however:I wish there was an option for it to remain on for longer than 30 minutes or so, yet I also understand this is a safety feature. Heated aspect is perfect for cold days – provides decent support for feet while seated at desk, however the massage/vibration aspect is less than stellar because it is loud and causes our whole floor to shake/vibrate.

Well what can I say. I’ve struggled for years whilst working from home to get comfortable with my legs and feet. Suffering aching legs and feet every night. My DSE recommended a soft foot rest. After having cold feet over the winter I was looking for a heated one. I was excited when I also found this that had a vibration massage too. I was going to buy something separate but thought I’d try this all in one.I was pleasantly surprised on setting it up. It’s so comfortable and just soft enough to allow my feet to position exactly how they lie which is important. The heat function works a treat and as it has a soft overlay cover it doesn’t get too hot to touch, so looking forward to using that in the winter. I have tested the vibration function. It can be a little noisy but I expected that as it is vibration. It doesn’t actually bother me when working as I find it a little therapeutic and aids concentration. I normally listen to brown noise but this does whilst the vibration is on. I’ve had a good go with vibration on my feet whilst working. As my calf’s ache and twitch during the evening I’ve done a session with resting my calf’s on it and it’s made a massive difference as my legs haven’t ached as much tonight and the twitching not as bad. I’m hoping that with daily use this will improve more. But as it stands I’m extremely happy with the results already. If you work at a desk for long spells I definitely recommend this. If you suffer restless legs or symptoms similar this will seriously help ease them.

I bought this both to help posture and because my feet were always getting cold beneath my desk (which has a window infront of it so is typically cold). Very comfy for resting your feet on, either bare or with socks on. The heating function works very well and has 2 options. I was skeptical about the pocket where you can tuck your feet under but its a great little addition. Massage function is meh, but I didn’t buy it for that.Overall very good – gave it 4 stars because price a bit much for what it is.

I already use a variety of Snailax therapy health aids to support my wellbeing. This footrest is well designed to provide a soothing foot massage while working under a desk.I am surprised at the speed at which it heated up. It has two heat settings, and it is ideal for people who suffer from cold tired feet. The footrest has a vibrating function which provides a massage feature that is very comforting. The upper layer is super comfy and soft. Best of all, it is washable and therefore hygienic. Keep your feet warm under the desk while working.

Can’t give 0 stars!! I bought this for my son at Xmas. Couple of weeks ago he was using when he noticed a strong burning smell. It had actually melted a hole in the top of the item. Thankfully he got it unplugged and outside with injury or major damage to my home. Very scary experience. And i dread to think what would have happened if he wasn’t in the room when it burned.I’ve flagged this up to seller (no response) and to Amazon (totally inadequate response… loads of apologies but zero actual help).I’m told it’s an isolated incident with no other products having such a problem. But needless to say I wouldn’t buy again.
