Following a visit to some high-tech, luxury design store with his parents this past Christmas season, my 6-year-old nephew started obliviously greeting everyone he encountered with “Guess what I want? A $6,000.00 massage chair!”While everyone’s initial response was to howl with laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of the request, it became clear that he was genuinely serious when it started appearing in the crayon artwork he would bring home from school and the Lego configurations strewn across his bedroom floor.Despite the unfortunate reality that the one he had his heart set on was never going to be an option, his letter to the North Pole did me in as it was prominently displayed at the top of his list alongside a detailed drawing of himself sitting in the chair. At this point, I was determined to find a suitable alternative but by the time I discovered this, it was too late for it to be received in time for Christmas. After accepting that his dream was not to be, he slowly moved on and stopped talking about it.With the arrival of his Birthday a full month later, I seized the opportunity to truly surprise him following all those weeks of giddy anticipation that ended in such a letdown. I was a little worried that he would be disappointed since it wasn’t the coveted designer chair, however, once I explained that he could use it in different places like his bed, the couch in the living room, or the recliner in the TV room he was completely sold.We initially set it up on a bed and he climbed in waiting to see how it worked. The attached remote control has numerous settings and allows for a wide variety of targeted options to satisfy individual preferences – he had this mastered in seconds. The look on his face once it was switched on was priceless – it was absolute euphoria. His eyes actually rolled back as he let out a deep sigh and said: “oh, yeah… this really helps me unwind”. I actually had to turn away to conceal my laughter as I watched this little boy morph into an old man!Soon, a line started forming as everyone took a turn with all the adults unanimously agreeing that they were wrong in their earlier mockery of his obsession with the massage chair. Three of those present have gone on to purchase a Snailax massage mat of their own; two of them struggle with pain management issues resulting from both an auto accident and a sports injury. They both strongly agreed that it did provide them with some relief from stiffness and difficulty getting comfortable in bed when trying to fall asleep. Of note, no matter which program you select, the mat automatically shuts down after 30 minutes. You can immediately restart it if you like, but this feature works well for purposes of a sleep aid.It comes in a functional box that doubles as a storage container and features a convenient carrying handle. A detailed user’s manual is included along with a certificate for a free two-year warranty. After a brief email exchange with the Snailax Customer Service Representative, my Nephew was all set and he proudly carried his new treasure to the car in its suitcase-like presentation box.It is now a fixture on my sister’s living room sofa and receives daily use as my nephew insists it is the perfect spot for him to quickly relax and recuperate after walking in the front door following a grueling day spent in first grade.Hands down the best money I have EVER spent on a gift, period!

Almost “perfect”!
First off, this is a great product. It’s clearly well made and robust, and the design makes it easy to travel with due to the built in strap.Something to note, as the description states, this is a vibrating mat and not a rollerball mat. And boy does it vibrate. There are three different intensities (low, medium and high) and even at the lowest it’s still quite strong..at its highest I can see it perhaps being too intense for some folks..so I think there is plenty of range in the intensity.As long as you are after a vibrating mat, then I think this a great purchase.So why the four stars? Well, it was almost “perfect”, however, It misses the mark just a bit due “vibration” customization. So the mat allows for a varied control over vibration with zone specifics as well as 5 different vibration modes. What I found though, is that the vibration modes have much more dynamics than the “zone specific” vibration. Meaning that some of the modes produce a really nuanced vibration pattern that almost feels like pressure is being applied to your body which is great! However, these same vibration dynamics are not customizable, so you can’t choose your own patterns. Therefore, it does not have as much potential for pain relief because that specific feeling you might want is not able to be dialed in.With this said, I must stress that this is quite nit picky, and this mat still is amazing and no doubt one of, if not the best available here on amazon. I am giving the four stars as encouragement to the company because it’s so close for me to being perfect!

Good Vibrations!
When pain is your constant companion, these mats are a life saver. It helps to get you going, after working and sometimes to sleep. Wish quality was a little better, fabric, vibration nodules, and wiring. But I use it every day and they last a couple years. Lightweight and works well, can’t use heat because bed is cooling gel. Maybe in future can put heat sheets on bottom of mat.

Awesome Quality
I received my order in one day in a very nice manufacturer’s box that even had a handle. The mat appears to be very well made with quality material. There are multiple settings and variations for the whole body or select regions. Worked well on my office chair with the attached Velcro strap and our queen bed. It is very comfortable and relaxing with the heat and vibration after a long day of work, especially on a reclining chair. Well worth the money. As an added bonus you can extend the one year warranty to three for free by scanning the QR code. Buy it!

Worked fine but not what I thought I wanted
I returned this after one use. I thought I would prefer vibration only massage, but I think I’d actually prefer a shiatsu massager. This just vibrated, and offered some relief, and the heat was nice. But I prefer sitting on the fabric of my furniture than the surface of this. If you only want vibration in a massage pad, this is a good one. But in the end, it was not what I wanted.

This is a wonderful product. I’ve bought other massages and heating pads in past but this one tops them all. The fact that it’s a mat makes is so easy to use and take with you anywhere. With other products I’ve struggled to get the massage nodes to hit the right spot but not here. The multiple massage zones and intensity settings work perfectly for me. I’m able to get relief with ease and just the right amount of heat to sooth the muscles in my back. I also love the fact that it’s not heavy, has a holder for the remote and and a long enough cord to reach any outlet.This is a product worth buying, you won’t be disappointed.

It is good. Works well. Only complaint is when first turned on it automatically set to an unpleasant setting that instantly needs to be adjusted. Other than that its great. Different intensity settings are nice. Can go on a chair or couch for sitting or on floor or bed for laying on. I found placing towel under mat to slightly adjust position to more suitable spot like my neck and lower back

Wow this mat does exactly with it is suppose to do. That is a nice change to find. I am a senior with arthritis in my shoulder, knee , ankle and hand and I am always cold even in the summer. Sitting on the chair in my recliner I can feel the heat and massage going through my body and find it very warm and comforting. Seven out of the 10 times of use, I fall into a little sleep.This is a product that I will use every day not will not be going out looking for the heated massage chair now.No need to do that I have a portable massage that can follow me anywhere.
