Sturdy and comfortable.
This lounge chair is quite comfortable when using the cushion, headrest, and footrest. The left & right side reclining lock mechanisms resemble a flat gear, so once you’ve found the ideal reclining position and the 2 lock handles are engaged, the chair will not slip out of position.My physical height is 5 ft. 8 in. and this chair is a perfect fit.The chair and cushion come wrapped in clear plastic bags, and ships folded up in a large double walled cardboard box. There is no other packaging material inside the box. The chair frame is steel, so expect this chair to be a tad heavy to carry. It would have been nice if the cardboard box had a handle or perforations for a hand hold, as carrying this box up a flight of stairs by yourself is a bit awkward.The chair is assembled with a combination of rivets in some locations and long screws/bolts with nuts in other areas.Don’t worry about the nuts coming loose – looks like the manufacturer used self-locking ‘elastic stop nuts’, they will not vibrate loose and can only be removed with a wrench.The chair comes with an eye mask and a set of ear plugs (?) which I guess someone thought us consumers needed.What would have been a smarter add on would have been to include a few Velcro straps. When you fold the chair up for storage, there are no lock pins to keep it folded up, that makes it awkward to carry or lift out of a car trunk. At least with some Velcro straps you could secure the frame from opening up while you lift or carry this chair.Very happy with this chair.

The chairs are so comfortable! Locking mechanism is staying put so far but it’s only been a week. Very sturdy.

Good purchase
Comfy but not really extra large. Seems more like a normal sized chair to me. I do enjoy the brakes at the handles so that my recline can be halted at any angle. I could take or leave the cupholder because some cups fit some don’t. And it’s kinda nice to have a place to set the phone. I’m glad I bought the chair.

Top pad is not what it seems!
This chair lives up to its name: zero gravity, able to recline to exactly the spot you want it. So it is highly comfortable, but I’m less than 5′ and only 95 lbs. I don’t think a large man or woman would find it as comfortable. But the biggest reason for the 3 stars is the flimsy nature of the top pad. In the website photos it appears to be made from a rugged material. It’s not. Think of very thin clothing lining, the kind used on inexpensive clothing. So thin that it won’t last more than one season, if that. There is no way you can leave this out in the elements. Moreover, the manufacturer used such small and flimsy pieces of ribbon for ties, that you won’t want to try to tie it back on every time you take the pad indoors to protect it. So the pad will just hang loose and you’ll be frustrated because it will fall off the lounge every time you sit down. I mean, how much more would it have cost the manufacturer to put a 5″ piece or ribbon on the corners, rather than 3″?Would I buy it again? Probably not… Would look for one that I didn’t have to bring in the pad every single night.

Best o gravity chair on market
This is the best chair on market. I bought several most didnt hold up longer than 6 to 9 months.What is important to know if you buy xl or XXL, have plenty of good glue on hand to glue the screws. One reason a few will fall out. Next will prevent foot drop on the chair. All of these chairs have this problem. I did research and learned it’s due to loose screws. I know I sound more like putting them down vs Cheering them on. There chairs last over 2 years… and with me in it all the time.

It’s padded and comfy, easy enough to move around the yard etc; large enough to hold me and my child safely.But it is a gravity chair, be cautious getting in and out.And our cup holders a one of the plastic footings arrived cracked from shipping. Wasn’t worth messing wit my to me.
