Beautiful Wax LED Candle Set in my Fireplace
This is a beautiful set of real wax, flameless LED candles with a remote. I love the fact that the remote allows you to set them for a certain number of hours, a desired brightness, and an option for steady on or candle flicker. One commenter said that the candles all flicker at the same time altogether when on the candle setting. However, I found that, although it does do this when the candle option is first pressed, after a minute or two, they start flickering at varying times and look more natural. Another commenter said they didn’t come packed very well, but I found my packaging very secure, all the candles were in perfect condition and were wrapped with a thin piece of plastic to protect the wax exteriors. Another commenter said that the bottoms fall off, however I found that for the one candle where the bottom would not stay on, the issue was that the spring inside the battery cap was on backwards; I popped the little metal piece out of the bottom using tiny screwdriver, reversed it, and snapped it back into the battery cover and that solved the issue. I have included a picture showing the candles set up in my fireplace. I’m really happy with this purchase, especially as the price was very reasonable and the quality beyond my expectations.

Absolutely great deal for the fact you’re getting this many candles, varying sizes, with remote settings for brightness, timers and flicker or straight light options. The light is just bright enough yet warm enough to be great set up around a room. 10/10 would buy again.

Full disclosure: I have two sets of these candles. I purchased the first set years ago, and the second set recently.LOOKS: These look like real candles, and if you set them to “Candle” on the remote, they will flicker. No, it doesn’t look 100% like a flame candle, but it will create nice ambiance without the risk of fire. (Since I have curious pets, the fire risk is a real issue.) The candles themselves look realisticDURABILITY: These candles have held up over time. I will say that because they are real wax, knocking them over / dropping them will crack them. I’ve had one mishap, and one of the candles has a crack in it. It still works, however. The one issue with durability is the battery covers; a few of mine have a tendency to pop out like a jack-in-the-box (and the batteries go flying!). The package includes an extra set of covers, however. I do wish, though, that they’d offer replacement covers separately. (They don’t. I’ve already asked, and I’ve already run out of extra covers from my first set.)BATTERY LIFE: I generally only use the candles in the evening for a few hours. That being said, I do light them every night during the winter months, and I don’t need to change the batteries often. They batteries in these candles last 2-3 times longer than the same AA rechargeable batteries in a similar set of candles from a big box store.REMOTE CONTROL: It works fine and has clear labels. I have had to replace the battery in the remote once in the last several years. The set includes 2 remotes, which is handy if one gets lost (see the curious pets, above).Overall, I recommend the set, and I liked it enough to buy a second set recently for another room.

Pretty nice candles
Candles look good. Use AA batteries so have them ready, about 20 batteries 😬. A little skinnier than I thought but they look really nice. Candles look white when off but have a nice glow as seen in pic. I’d definitely bug again. Great for power outage and just relax.

Just what I wanted
I have birds and went years without burning candles because of that, and missed the cozy atmosphere that the glow of candlelight provides. I ran across these a few years ago and they are still going strong. I use Eneloop rechargeable batteries in them and run them on the timer for 4 hours a night, and the batteries last for weeks – not sure exactly how many as I take the batteries out by habit to recharge before they dim out, but at least 3 weeks. I like that you can adjust the brightness and go with either a solid light or a subtle flicker which is pretty realistic. Adding to the realism is the fact that the body of the candles is made with actual wax. So they look great, but that also means they can get damaged like a real wax candle if bumped or dropped, so take the same care you would with a real candle.These provide a wonderful ambiance, and the remote has worked well. I liked them so much that I ended up buying multiple sets. The only con I can think of is that the battery doors have a strong spring and you have to watch how you put them on. Other than that, I have no caveats and would definitely recommend these.UPDATE October 2025 – I’ll have had these for 5 years come December, and they are still going strong (as are the Eneloop batteries I’m using in them, some of which are even older). Nice to see the price is still reasonable, too!

Nice enough, but not durable.
These are nice, but I wish they were sturdier. They scratch easily and one of the bases fell out the first week we got them. They can easily be glued back into place, but still. Then another one cracked when just moving it to a different spot, and a chunk came off. They also attract dust easily.I do like the color of the flame, the candles themselves, and the remote function is SO nice. They have a waxy feel which is cool. I like the size variations as well.Overall these are a good option for the price point, but not something I would consider high quality or plan to purchase again.

These are BEAUTIFUL!!! Truly the most stunning soft faux wax candles. They look so real. You can adjust the lightness on them too. If you want them dimmer, just lower it on the remote and they also have still mode & flicker mode. They are just stunning. Highly recommend. I love remote control too for easy turn off. 5 stars from me.

My daughter had this set at her Thanksgiving table and I fell in love. It comes with the remote which amazing features. It has 2, 4, 6, 8 hr timing settings. It also has candle mode which flickers or just light mode without the flickering. It also has dim & bright mode. On/off. They each take 2AA batteries. The candles are wax so they look more real. They also are an ivory colour. The great thing about this set is that it comes with 9 candles so you can split them up if you want in different groupings are have altogether. The price was good for this 9 pce set.
