Very strong adhesive and strong off gassing for first week
This weatherstripping is extremely solid and well made. I used it to seal a DIY air purifier, and the adhesive strength is excellent. Before applying it, I wiped the surface down with isopropyl alcohol to ensure good adhesion, and once it was on, it stayed firmly in place. The material itself is flexible and compresses well.The adhesive is very strong, almost too strong. When I installed it on a door, I made a mistake in how I oriented it. Because of the direction of force, it ended up pulling against the surface instead of being compressed, and it actually ripped some paint off the door. That was user error, not a defect in the product, but it is something to be very careful about. Make sure you install it so the door compresses the weatherstripping rather than pulling on it, otherwise you risk damaging paint or finishes.Another thing to be aware of is the smell. When I first installed it, there was a strong chemical odor that lasted close to a week. You will want good ventilation during that initial period.I cannot really comment on the exact thermal insulation performance, since I did not measure temperature changes. My goals were to block light from the hallway, since I am a light-sensitive sleeper, and to reduce airflow so I could test my air purifier in a more sealed room. For both of those use cases, it worked very well.Overall, this is a very high-quality, aggressive weatherstripping with excellent adhesion. Just be mindful during installation and ventilate well at first.

I applied this on my sliding glass door of my home. I attached it to the opposite side of the handle to close the gap between both glasses. It does the job. It is a very fast adhesive. Place it exactly where you want it or you are going to remove the weather stripping and your paint just trying to readjust. Also make sure you measure correctly. My door frame is crooked so the size I bought only fit part of it.It will keep out the cold, heat and the large bugs that want to become a part of your life.

Simple to use & gets the job done
I got this for combatting fall & winter weather, for 2023-2024 & 2024-2025. No better options are out there that make it easy, until triski came along.Get a pair of scissors or a knife & you’re ready to start applying it. It’s easy just snip what you need, remove the protector, and apply it to where you want it.Unless you manhandle the weather stripping, it’s not gonna come off easily. It’s effective keeping cold air & snow from coming through my doors.It has a good usage for spring & summer too, strong storm winds & pests can’t get through the stripping.You don’t have to take my word for it, get it yourself. Know having returning customers realizes you put out a good product.

I used it for my Jeep hardtop. Sealed it the gap between the hardtop and the bed just fine. Easy to work with and there’s plenty of it so no worries about running out. The sticky side isn’t overly sticky but strong enough to hold it when applied

As described.
This is as described. It ended up being slightly to thick for our door. It is flexible & easy to install. It did help with noise & draft protection. We just could not get the door to close all the way because of the thickness. We ended up having to pull it all off. I did not see a thinner version so we are still ISO something similar but thinner.
