My heater has a smell when I turn it on for the first time. Is this normal?

Pretty quit and does the job heating a small area.
Pretty quiet, at least not disturbing. Well made and does it job for a small space heater.

Good quality of room heater
I bought this heater because of the many settings that it offered and it’s portable. It keeps room warm and goes on and off automatically when the temperature is warm enough it offers 40-73 degrees. It come with a small remote where it has button to adjust temperature, plus + and minus – button and if the buttons are pushed together it doesn’t beep when turning on and off. Some pets may not care for the beeping or noise of the heater.

Great little heater.
Puts out a lot of heat for a small unit. The digital temp readout isn’t accurate, but we set it on 80 degrees low fan setting & it cycles on/off perfect. Keeps our 170 sq ft bedroom a comfortable 74 degrees. Also has a remote, very handy. Our power bill went down.

does not run continuously like normal heater
Great if you only want heat for five minutes at a time. athe machine turns off “once it reaches the set temperature” but it just turns off when it wants and I have to continuously turn it back on if I want heat. Does not run like a normal heater.

Compact and Quiet, but Auto Shut-Off Is Too Sensitive
I appreciate how compact and quiet this space heater is; however, I experienced a few notable drawbacks. While I understand that most heaters are designed to automatically shut off when they detect overheating or when a certain room temperature is reached, this space heater shuts off very frequently—even when my room did not feel warm or reach a comfortable temperature. This made it difficult to maintain consistent heat and limited its overall effectiveness for my needs.Additionally, the Q&A section claims that the LED display can be turned off using the remote control, but despite testing all available buttons, I was unable to disable the LED lights.Overall, the heater is easy to operate and functions as intended, but due to the overly sensitive automatic shut-off and display issue, I believe this heater is not suited for my specific room or my needs.

Heater Works Great — Remote Build Quality Could Be Better
The space heater itself works very well and heats the space quickly and efficiently. We have been pleased with its overall performance and reliability so far.The only issue we have noticed is with the remote control. Within just a few uses, the remote started coming apart. We were able to temporarily fix it by placing a small piece of tape along the bottom to keep the face secured.

Surprising power!
This is a powerful little unit. I’m surprised at how much heat it puts out. I use it in my basement in a smaller finished part to supplement what little heat I already have going into that space.
