Stuck/squished corners fixed by simply gently pulling them each direction
These work really well. I didn’t wait 2 days. I had them ready to post up within 6 hours. After pulling it out of the plastic they began to rise by themselves. I quicken the process by simply gently pulling the stubborn corners in each direction. I also got them to fluff evenly all around by gently tugging opposite corners as well as the mid left side to right side. Pulling too hard would probably rip it.To rid of the smell quickly I stood each square upright in my bathroom– some against the wall, and some leaning on each other– so it can air out. The major thing that helped here is that I have an exhaust fan in the bathroom, and so by closing the door it sucked air through the foam even more quickly. Didn’t have to stink up the house or leave it outside where allergens might grab on.As for adhesion, the thing that worked for me was letting spray adhesive on the backside, and then using velcro with the adhesive backs on them. This doesn’t cancel out noise completely like some people expect here… but it definitely does a great job dampening to a large extent. I have thin windows, and the neighbor hasn’t had a problem with me since.

Excellent sound absorption. • Effective and aesthetically attractive pyramidal design.
I bought this pack of 24 pyramidal acoustic panels of 12 x 12 x 2 inches to improve the acoustics of my home studio, and the truth is that they exceeded my expectations. From the first moment, I noticed a significant reduction in echoes and reverbs inside the room. The pyramidal shape helps to disperse the sound waves evenly, which improves both the quality of the recordings and the overall listening experience. The panels are of high density, which translates into more effective sound absorption compared to other thinner or less compact models. In addition, the fact that they are fire resistant gives me much more peace of mind when using them in closed spaces with electrical equipment.Another point to highlight is how easy they are to install. With a good adhesive (not included), the panels are easily fixed on both walls and ceilings. The black finish gives a professional and modern touch to the space.

Strong Chemicals but works good enough
I purchased these to put on a window facing a very noisy street. They help reduce the noise a bit but I also have sealed the window and put up a noise reducing curtain so I am unsure how much noise they are actually blocking. They don’t have glue or glue backing, so I had to this myself, which is fine but my main issue is the fumes emitted from the chemicals on them. The first night I slept with them on the window I had a horrible migraine from the fumes. I thought about returning them but I really need them because the street noise is unbearable on my bedroom. I’ve been aerating the room and running two air purifiers but night 3, I have a migraine again from the fumes. If it keeps happening I may need to reconsider.

Decorative Only. Do NOT Buy These for Sound.
I’ve had these panels up in two different rooms for about a year now, so this isn’t a snap judgment. Let me be blunt: these do absolutely nothing for sound. Zero. Not dampening, not absorption, not treatment — nothing. The foam is so low-density and thin that it’s basically a sticker on your wall. It looks like acoustic treatment, but it performs like a decoration. That’s it. If you’re buying these to make your room look like a studio, sure, they’ll do that. If you’re buying them because you actually want to record audio, reduce echo, or dampen sound in any meaningful way, save your money. What really put it in perspective for me was visiting Guitar Center and seeing what real acoustic panels look and feel like. The difference in density, thickness, and overall quality was night and day. Yes, real panels cost significantly more — and now I understand exactly why. You genuinely get what you pay for. Here’s the problem: this product has thousands of reviews and a high star rating, which makes it look legitimate. I fell for it too. But I’d bet most of those reviewers are rating how the panels look on their wall, not whether they actually work. Because they don’t work.If you’re serious about audio — whether it’s recording, podcasting, streaming, or just reducing noise in a room — do yourself a favor and invest in proper acoustic treatment from a music or audio retailer. These are a gimmick, and I wish someone had told me that before I wasted my money.

Not the Easiest Things to Install
It’s difficult to get anything to stick to them. I used double sided tape that is sold for this purpose failed after a few minutes. It stuck to the walls but not the foam panels. I finally ended up using a combination of Liquid Nails on the foam side of the double sided tape. Still a couple fell off of the wall before the Liquid Nails dried. I guess contact cement might have worked but I’ never be able to get that off of the walls. I rent and I’d like to get my security deposit back when I move! Also a couple of the panels arrived damaged. Of course I didn’t notice until I had hung most of them.

Wait for it to come to life
Was a little misled when the package came and I saw that it was about the thickness of a sheet of paper. Upon opening, I realized that they suction all the air out. So you have to give it 24 to 48 hours for them to actually come to life.

These are good quality for the price!
These are little thin (Not industrial quality) basically just thin foam like from a mattress pad…BUT that said being that my walls have ZERO insulation (just sheetrock with zero insulation in between) These foam pads on my cieling work wonders AND look great! I work from home and do podcasting …the sound is fantastic! There were just enough pieces in my order to cover the entire area I needed to cover. Mine didn’t have a bad smell thank goodness….so I was able to put them up the same day I got them. I would definetly order again!

Great
Works good for my beginner booth for voice acting! The dampening is great and there’s no longer sound bouncing around in my auditions/recordings.
