Don’t waste your money
I live in a one bedroom apartment a little over 700 square feet. I have some cacti I’m keeping inside till the weather improves. I need the humidity to be around 40%. I have used this dehumidifier in my living room area and in my bedroom. I have used it on both settings; to run continuously and to cut off when humidity reaches 45%.It has yet to go below 58%. I am returning this piece of junk. I really wanted this to work.

False Advertising: Won’t Lower Humidity in a 10 x 9 room below 55% ever
This unit’s marketing is highly misleading. While it claims a “40-pint capacity” and “1000 sq. ft.” coverage, it only draws 60 watts of power, which is physically inadequate to come close to meeting those specs. It’s a small ‘Peltier’ (thermoelectric) unit suited, I guess, maybe for a tiny closet or bathroom. In a small 10×9 room, it plateaued at 55% humidity and could not go lower, as it lacks the airflow and cooling power of a true compressor-based dehumidifier.Didn’t check the specks and got fooled… Frankly, not sure what’s even the point of making a dehumidifier this weak, other than fooling people, or keeping it in a closet size space. Or the maker is misguided.2 Stars because it looks fine (even nice for a dehumidifier), runs quietly, has a relatively large tank for its size (even though after a week it was only like 1/10 full), and the auto functions work without a hitch. But what’s the point if it’s not effective as a dehumidifier.

Looking forward to seeing how well it works
Delivered in said time. Product is as advertised. I placed it in the bathroom. It’s not very loud from there. We shall see how much it collects since it said the current humidity is 66% with the current temperature of 70 degrees as the AC just kicked on and is also set to 70 degrees.

Excellent dehumidifier for home
Overall, this is truly an excellent product and I can’t live without it. We live in an old house and the indoor humidity is often a problem.I usually place the dehumidifier in the kitchen and dining area. It can be left on while cooking and it won’t disturb our life at all because it runs relatively quietly.After the dehumidifier is running, the moisture won’t stick to the walls and windows anymore. The effect is much better than when it’s not used, and the windows hardly condense anymore.

This dehumidifier does not work. I bought this one after my previous one stopped working. It’s been running for 3 days straight and has collected very little water even though it says the humidity in my home is 65%. Sending back

My breathing became easier
After running in the basement for half an hour, the humidity display dropped from 75% to around 55%. The most noticeable change was the disappearance of the sticky, humid feeling in the air. The machine automatically shuts off when the water tank is full, and its ingenious design prevents leakage when the tank is lifted, ensuring it won’t disturb sleep at all.
