The pad slips around but it’s still great
I needed something to prop my feet up for sitting at my desk 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. However, the padding on it slips around because it comes loose. So I have to constantly tighten it unfortunately. But I do love it and I love that I can adjust it to my settings cuz I have short legs so I have to have it higher. But it is comfortable and it does help. My tailbone feel better from sitting in a chair all day.

Easy to use and comfortable
Had for over a month now, really like it. Easy to change the angle of it, and locks in place just fine. I probably press too hard on it at times, but it still holds up just fine. Pillow top is conformable, and hasn’t “flattened” yet, and I use it 10+ hours a day.Only weird quirk, the bottom metal base has slightly bent, probably from the force of me pushing. But doesn’t affect its usability.Update at 5 months:Still love it, I don’t even “think” about it anymore, it’s just a part of my desk setup. Wouldn’t feel right without it now. Base hasn’t bent any more, just a bit as I mentioned in my first review above.Update at 1.5 years:Works exactly as it did brand new, my feet still rest on it nearly all day, pressing quite hard at times. Simple upgrade I did was to add a little velcro strip between the pillow top and the base just so the pillowtop stays in one place better. Otherwise, still love it and works perfectly.Update at 2.5 years:This beast is still an amazing champ of a footrest. Mechanically this this is perfect, even with the heavy leadfoot weight I have pushed onto this thing. The metal plate I mentioned before that kinda warped, well that hasn’t gotten any worse, and it’s not any hinderance to me either way. Still works amazing.HOWEVER! Finally the leather-type material covering the cushion has over the last 6 months started to break apart. It now looks like an old 1980’s fake leather couch that is splitting all over. But, even still, it is comfortable and I would 100% still recommend this. Amplifies your computer veg-time greatly!

Exactly as expected
I have 2 simple complaints about this footstool: the base is a bit small, and this isn’t very sturdy. I didn’t get it to stand on or anything, but adjusting the position of your feet will rock the unit in some positions. It’s not dangerous, or anything, just not a solid feeling. The other issue is that the top pad slides around a lot. It hasn’t fallen off, but there’s a lot of strain on 2 velcro straps, and they don’t have a true channel or anything they run through so there’s some wear going on that lowers their lifespan. The unit folds up nicely, and once you get the hang of the adjustments it’s easy to configure. I’ve put a considerable amount of force on the joints simply to test things out and they’ve held up. I’m very happy with the construction quality of the armatures. The pad is the only thing that holds back my rating. it needs some form of attachment feature at the top and bottom to prevent it from rotating around it’s straps. Otherwise, very happy.

Very nice under-desk foot rest, but construction is just okay.
This foot rest is just perfect for under the desk, but the quality is so-so on the foot rest.Pros:I do enjoy how easily I can adjust very easily the height or tilt of the foot rest, and the size is just perfect for not taking up too much room under the desk. The assembly was super easy on the product as there was none. (Footrest comes preassembled)Cons:The pad resting on top constantly moves around when slightly moving your feet on the rest, and it feels as if at any time the foot rest can collapse when I am putting just slightly too much pressure on it.Conclusion: Product is super comfortable for under the desk, and is super convenient, but this doesn’t seem like it will last very long and it can be tough to justify the value in this over time.

Not stable, not comfortable – worst foot stool
I came back and found this page two years after I bought it, to say that I would give this zero stars if I could. It CONSTANTLY slips out of place and the way it’s supposed to just slide into place is SO faulty. I am constantly either trying to fight with this thing to fix it, or (my usual method) just stacking pillows on top of it to make it somewhat almost work. The tiny flat pillow included with the product will 100% always slide off or under the product, and it is HELL to try to fix. I have tried to use this thing forwards, backwards, sideways, literally any angle possible to make it try to work and it just doesn’t. One awful thing too is that pet hair gets stuck in the grooves super easily, and it gets so gross. I hate this thing so bad and I’m going to throw a party when I upgrade and dump this one. I should’ve just gotten a wooden footstool that cannot adjust, honestly.

Had one for 3 years and just bought a second one.
I’ve had one at my office for 3 years now and I just bought a second one for my home office. The 3-year-old is still going strong. The only issue I can see with this is if you need something to reposition often, but I’ve put this under my desk and hardly ever change position and it’s great. The pad is a little cheap-seeming, but again, I’ve used it for 3 years and it’s been fine.I read some reviews that mention difficulty with it staying in place, but because I’ve got mine against the back of the desk, I’ve never encountered this issue.

Surprising.
I didn’t have any super high expectations with this. But I’ve got to say, if it can hold my feet up comfortably with my heavy legs, then it has my stamp of approval.Something to note is that by default it doesn’t have grips underneath so it slides around alot but since I use it in it’s tallest setting underneath my desk and I shift my position around alot it actually works in my benefit that it slides. I believe it does come with some optional grips to keep it from sliding but you might want to jerry rig something stronger to keep it firmly in place. Also the foot rest padding is a ‘B’ at best, I think a faux leather might have felt more comfortable than the cloth material but they probably chose this option for its durability. Might replace the padding cover myself down the road.

Esperaba algo más grande, estable y cómodo. Es fácil de ajustar, pero no fue lo que esperaba al usarlo.

The issue is that the hinges are holding a large portion of the force, but they are simply screwed into some empty plastic rectangle with no support. When a force is applied, the plastic bends at the right angle corner and the whole thing collapse with a large gap between the pannels, unlike when it is folded properly. That piece of plastic will probably break within the year. I might try to reinforce that tranded part by pouring some epoxy inside of the moulded plastic in order to stabilize the shape. Otherwise, I might just make another base, based on the dimentions and shape of this one, but out of plywood, because that will be a stable material. The adjustement hardware seems perfect, the hinges are strong enough to hold the weight, it’s just the hollow plastic body that’s too weak for the shearing forces.
