It’s a good fan, but if you’re looking for a tornado-creating fan, this is not it.
Living in Southern California means dealing with the katabatic winds known as the Santa Anas. Generally, they begin in the late summer and last into early fall, and – to put it mildly – they suck! Now, it’s only mid-June as I write this, but within a couple weeks the temperature will start to climb into the 80°s, by the end of July we’ll be in the 90°s, August & September will see us in the 100°s. Let me tell you… I. Hate. Being. Hot. Especially at night when I’m trying to sleep. As it happens, my old fan took a dump last week, which sucked but at least at least it wasn’t 90-fricken-degrees outside, and I had ample time to replace it. This one was very reasonably priced ($38) and I liked that it has a remote control, my old one didn’t. This fan was easy to assemble and works well. At speed level 1, it’s very quiet. At level 2, it’s a still-pleasant white noise. At 3, it’s more noticeable, but not so much that it bothers me. Thing is, it’s less powerful than my old fan. It’s level 3 (highest setting) is equivalent to level 2 on the old one. Thankfully, I also own one of those big round floor fans that blow just shy of tornado-creating, so I’m prepared. Overall, this tower fan looks good and works well, I love the remote control and am glad I paid less than what I would have at Target or Home Depot. I just wish it had a better blow. Yes, feel free to finish that off with, “That’s what he said.”

Replace an old unit with the exact same
I love this fan so much I bought it twice. I appreciate that it comes with a remote control so I can start it up and stop it across the room. The first one I had lasted about 8 years before it needed to be replaced. Had I actually vacuumed it out on a regular basis I likely would have gotten more use out of it.I like the height and that the fan comes up across the top of the bed so that I can have it blowing on me and use it for white noise at night. It was very easy to assemble and the fan levels work perfectly for my needs. It’s not so heavy that you can’t move it from room to room if you needed to. The light that comes on when the device is powered on is very tiny and is not going to keep anyone from sleeping

GREAT FAN – I’ve bought 4!
My favorite all time fan. Bought one on Amazon and three others at various times/places. Two of these fans I’ve had for several years and they run 24/7 – in my bird room and bedroom. Love that they’re adjustable height and remote has a good “reach”. Stand has a small foot print and it doesn’t take up much room. Level one speed noise is almost non-existent – like a white noise and Level 3 is pretty strong. One fan was dropped and stopped oscillating – but still works – imagine that. They cool well and look good too. Lasko is a great brand for me. Also have two of their oscillating tower heaters that have never failed me. This was an excellent buy. Recommended.

The perfect fan
I sleep with a fan on me year round and definitely prefer the tower fan. I had one for years and then it broke 5 months ago. I searched thru the whole inventory on Amazon to find the right one. On some the height was not correct or reviews were poor. Then I saw this LASKO fan and was thrilled by the adjustable height and decided to give it a shot. It was a huge success but little did I know it would prove to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I have not a single negative comment to make about this fan. It far surpassed the quality of my previous fan while adding new much needed benefits.I don’t always like having air conditioning on in the warmer weather and due to the adjustable height of the fan I can raise it and have it either oscillate to spread air around the entire room or keep it steady and direct on me when really warm. This unit pushes an incredible amount of air. I have yet to use the 3rd level and even on warm nights often need a blanket when sleeping. The fan actually makes me cold sometimes. The air pressure helps tremendously when the weather is warm. You can adjust the blades to have the air come out in the direction you want. And the adjustable base is very sturdy. I raise and lower it constantly and with a tight squeeze it stays firmly in place. The remote is great and easy to use. This whole unit could be put together in 5 minutes and what I got was miraculous. I wanted a fan at the correct height to cool me when sleeping and ended up with a fan that also serves as a total apartment cooler in the warm weather. It goes to 52″ inches tall and works magic. I use it at 43″ for sleep and then whatever level I want throughout the day. If you are in search of that fan that puts out great air and really helps in warm weather this is the one for you. It will serve all your needs. And really believe all the comments on the great air pressure. Each level from 1 to 3 is noticably stronger but in no way noisier. I am thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Lasko es una gran marca,de esas que sus productos duran muchos años.Este ventilador de torre es de un tamaño cómodo,no estorba y se puede poner en cualquier rincón. Tiene tres niveles de potencia e incluso el más alto te deja dormir plácidamente.Ya tuve años antes un ventilador de la marca y por eso me decidí nuevamente por este.
