Wake up to way less pain and stiffness!
This has been probably one of the best products I’ve purchased through Amazon! SO comfortable and tames down my aches, pains and muscle stiffness throughout the night for better sleep and way less pain the next morning. It does make it harder to turn in bed, and I do get a little warm from laying on it (not extreme warmth), but the benefits are worth it. Others foams I’ve tried aren’t even close to the comfort I get from this product.

Feel like a brand new person!
The topper looks just like the picture shown.Our bed is years old. The mattress is still in decent condition. It’s one the flips over and has a pillow top on both sides. We’ve always been good about flipping and rotating it. But, time wears on. I have neuropathy and I was noticing that my hands and arms were falling asleep or tingling every morning. I have had to wear braces. Plus my lower back would take a while of creaking to warm up and not be sore. I have one hip that had started to hurt. I’m not getting into the husband’s side. We are both healthy and keep in pretty good shape so I just knew some of this was the mattress. Was I ready to spend another $1K or more on a mattress….ummmm….nope!I had slept on a friend’s bed who had gotten a memory foam mattress and liked it. Then I started researching the toppers. I have been looking into a topper for months. Figured I would give it a shot. Hopefully sleep better and save a little money. Thank you Prime Day! haha After reading about everything I could and then reading reviews, comparing prices etc, I decided on this.Hallelujah!! I picked this one because it had good reviews on temperature. I run hot so I needed something that wouldn’t make me sweat. I liked the bamboo and charcoal features. This came perfectly packaged. Easy to open (provided a razor tool for the plastic) and lay out. There was absolutely NO SMELL. I was worried. I put my face right into it. Nothing. I have a small house so there was no way I was able to stick a king sized topper somewhere for 48 hours, so this only sat for about 14 hours. It did start to expand immediately after being laid out. I already had a pillow mattress cover w/ deep pockets and it fits right over it. I have slept on this for 2 nights so I might be pulling the trigger early on a review, but I will definitely update this if necessary.Night one: I could definitely tell a difference. It was very comfortable. I was worried about too soft or too firm, but like goldilocks, it was just right. It is soft enough that you sink into it, but firm enough that you are not in a hole (if that makes sense). I was not hot at all. Summer is definitely a time to test that out.Night two: I think I liked it even better last night. Just a huge difference. Even lying on it to read. I was comfortable with no aches. Huge difference in the morning. I haven’t worn my arm braces and my arms and hands have not had any pins and needles or numbness. My hip has not bothered me and my lower back doesn’t feel like I have to oil it up before exercising or just breathing.At this point, I would definitely recommend this topper. I know there are so many out there. My suggestion is don’t rush it. Read reviews on and off of Amazon. Going through though, add this one to your list of a possibility. I will add too that I was thinking I would need a 4 inch, but I did read somewhere that someone stated that it feels like you sink further down with a 4inch so I got the 3 and it’s perfect for my needs. Sorry so long, but I invested a lot of time into this. haha

About 14 years ago, we purchased a queen-size memory foam mattress (from Costco). It was our first time using a memory foam mattress, and we liked it a lot. Our next home came furnished with a new king bed, so we bought a 2-inch down-alternative mattress topper. It was inexpensive and adequately comfortable. Our home after that came with two new twin XL mattresses on a common frame (comprising an inexpensive equivalence to a king bed). We continued using our 2-inch down-alternative mattress topper. It finally became lumpy, so it was time to get something new. We saw the Lucid 4-inch memory foam topper and decided to give it a try. We find it to be a good product, providing comfort similar to an entire memory foam mattress (like the one we had originally). This topper even fills the small gap between the two twin mattresses, so that it feels like an actual king mattress. The topper is packaged well, and expanded to its full size in about 36 hours. At that time, the slight odor was gone too. We enclosed the mattresses and the topper in a basic mattress pad, and then put on the bed sheet. Inside a mattress pad and covered by a bed sheet, the topper is a bit less pliant than it is when uncovered, so it feels somewhat less cushy than it does on its own. You may or may not notice the difference, but that’s purely subjective. We did not find the difference to be objectionable.Since this product is made in China, I was concerned about the chemical composition of the gas that the mattress gives off when it is new. The reason for my concern about this stems from contaminated Chinese drywall that was used in many homes in my area that were built between 2006 and 2008. The drywall gave off toxic gasses that caused health problems, and caused serious deterioration of copper, thus ruining wiring, air conditioning systems, and jewelry! I contacted Lucid customer support to inquire about this. They assured me that the gas given off by the mattress is harmless, but they were unable (or unwilling) to tell me the chemical composition of the gas.We paid $112.49 for the mattress, but less than a week later, Amazon was selling it for $89.99. At $112.49, this mattress topper is a good value. At $89.99, it’s a steal! (By the way, if you do not like the topper and want to return it, keep in mind that after it expands to its full size, the topper will not even come close to fitting in the box in which it came.)Finally, our standard poodle agrees that this topper provides good bedtime comfort, and he approves, as shown in the photo!

I was searching for an alternative to Tempur and Visco Soft, and I finally found it. :)The 7.5 cm thickness is perfect, especially on top of a firmer mattress. Comfortable, supportive, and exactly what I needed.
