Love this smart lightbulb for the cool functionality
Love this Phillips smart lightbulb and the WIZ app that bring these to life! Come in a box of 4 showing one in photos. Easy WiFi pairing not much trouble for me. As see in photos these are 800 lumen which is not the brightest but works well for most of my case. Need to use dimmer and warmer light for me at night anyways. Using for about a half month now good quality no issue of flickering whatsoever.There are many aspect of the it actually impressing to me. Own a few smart lightbulb before mostly just standard able to connect to Alexa Google Home etc and ask it to be turned on, change colors.But these are another level. With the help of the Wiz app.To start, there is option to smoothly turn on and turn off the light, as shown in the first part of the video. To me this added sooo much of elegance and vibe to the experience. Secondly the Wiz app comes with many different type of presets from some function light for night times, focus, even plant light (purple). And also quite like the so called “Progressive” lighting for waking up and going to sleep. For instance for Bedtime it essentially started at maybe 25% level, then gradually every minute decrease 5% or so until it’s completed off. Very cool and nice touch.In addition there is the FUN section for “Dynamic” lighting where there are many preset scenes that essentially are several colors the program will cycle through. To me most of these are more for fun and a bit too dazzling from time to time. Hope in future update we could customize the time between each color, or adjust the tone a bit or something. Maybe build your own mix? There is also function to create “scenes” that looks like useful to set multiple lightbulbs at once to create scene for certain scenario. Haven’t tried this out yet myself. Overall pretty happy and impressed with how much thing can be done with these and look forward for more customization options!

Longtime Philips HUE lighting user, this is a better alternative.
I’ve used Philips HUE lights for approximately a decade now, and while there’s a lot to love about them (great user interface on the HUE app, lots of preset modes, a wide variety of settings, user friendly ability to customize scenes, individual lights, wakeup and nightly wind down modes, etc.) I was disappointed by its lack of consistency in the bulbs.I often would have one go off network, or when setting my room to nightlight (dark orange) some would suddenly turn green. It required a whole hard reset, and I even had a couple of lights burn out relatively early. This was pretty annoying to me considering how expensive they were.Here’s what I like about these A19 bulbs as a viable replacement to the HUE bulbs:- More affordable- They can connect via Bluetooth AND Wi-Fi, so if your internet goes down you’re fine- Still plenty of ability to customize- The week I have run these bulbs there’s been no issueWhat could be better:- I wish all Philips lights just integrated under the same HUE appThis is a 5/5 product. Highly recommended.
