The scissors are pretty good actually
I got the scissor set because it had a promotion on it at the time making it cheaper than without the scissors and they are actually very good scissors. I have a few good scissors already plus some junky ones for various projects and these go in the good pile – in case you need a pair. The stripping is resilient with great adhesion so far, 1.5 months after install. It’s not a cheap foam-like material but a kind of built up composite as far as I can tell. Won’t rip or tear easily. I got a cheaper stripping that I used on windows that don’t get opened much to air seal without worrying if it will degrade from use. I used this on a door that gets opened a few times a day and its shape and function appear same as new.

Great quality and price!
My windows and sliding doors had poor insulation. I cut the stuff to fit which was very easy. it has a very sticky layer that holds great to places needed. My electric/gas bill has dropped and it feels less drafty in my house. Very pleased with quality and price.

Perfect for DIY projects and general seal use. Technical review:
These strips are fantastic for DIY purposes, and an awesome drop-in for most standard interior/exterior doors for weather and sound. The buckling design means they require little force to compress, and i recommend targeting 1/16th ~1mm of compression. the uncompressed height is usually around 1/4″, and it can compress to about 1/8″. they are about 3/8″ wide. Some points will be kinked from being shipped on a roll, but they all come back flawlessly. The biggest pro is the adhesive quality. it’s the high quality clear stuff, it will gladly stick to paint, raw wood, steel, glass, and more, with enough holding power to never come off. but it won’t leave marks when you do remove it.If making your own custom panels that sit flush, you can route a 3/16 deep by 3/8 wide notch to get the perfect fit.If weather resistance, adhesive quality, and consistency are your goals, these are the best price to performance compared to most! Will update with photos upon project completion!

Not as good as I thought
I really wanted this 50 Feet D-Shape Rubber Weather Stripping to work, but it was a complete letdown. The material feels cheap and flimsy, and it barely sticks to anything. Even after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the adhesive started peeling off within a day. In some spots, it never adhered at all.The “50 feet” claim also feels misleading — the roll was unevenly wound, and I’m convinced there was less usable length than advertised. Cutting it was easy, but that’s about the only positive. The seal itself doesn’t hold tight, so it does little to block drafts or noise, which defeats the entire purpose. After all the effort of installing it, I ended up ripping it off and replacing it with a different brand that actually works. Save yourself the frustration — I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Fills gaps perfectly
This is what I’ve been searching for! Seals window and door gaps perfectly. Once it’s on, it stays on until you want or need it off. Totally lowered my gas bill the first month I used it.
