Absolutely the BEST alternative to expensive name brands
After seeing the out-of-sight prices for the name brand P*rple mattress, and finding out that the name brand doesn’t sell mattress toppers, I went online hoping to find a comparable product. This gel topper is amazing!!! It LITERALLY feels just like the expensive name brand! And at a fraction of the price! The gel is super soft, without sacrificing the support you need when sleeping. I feel I sleep cooler on it, as well. The gel seems dense and well made, so I don’t expect it to deteriorate any time soon. There weren’t too many product reviews, so I was hesitant to spend so much money on bedding supplies that may/may not be returned … but I am not the LEAST bit disappointed! This gel will be on my mattresses for the rest of my life 🙂 I’m so glad I found this product. I totally recommend this for someone looking for a cheaper “name brand” alternative!

The split segments ruin it.
Instead of having 3 segments inside the cover, like the pictures show, this actually has 2 segments which leaves a gap in the middle – right where my hip is so it’s annoying and at times uncomfortable.Vive confirmed over email that the 2 segment design is the only option they make.Too bad because it does offer great pressure relief and it is cool but the spilt in the middle ruins it

this gel mattress topper is one of the best things I’ve could’ve bought. Currently I have a broken arm on one side and I have shingles on the other. This made my life very easy. Sleep qualities is amazing. There is no smell value for the money was great very comfortable. slip resistant on the bottom now I just have to find it to make a new cover for the top

2 pieces vs 3 as advertised. I figured a comfy solution
This isnt complicated to make a full length bed version. PRPL mattress shouldn’t have a Patton on this. Im disappointed that it was two pieces, even though a review stated 2 pieces vs 3 advertised. 2 pieces is a bad place to have a seperation. So! I took one piece and centered where I needed it and gave my dog the other as a dog bed. Its comfortable. But not what we all want.

so far so good.
so far so good. the 2 sections are held together by the cover and it has tiny grips to keep it from sliding off. So far I like it. Not as bouncy as a purple bed, but better than the cheap purple TPE topper i bought from Alibaba. Hope this holds up. I will raise it to a 5 if it does.

i can’t live without this anymore
I’m disabled and hyper mobile and always in pain. this gel is so unbelievably helpful it’s become a joke in my family. i can’t stand to be away from it for very long so they ominously declare i “must return to the gel.”i actually can get a full nights sleep with this thing i sleep cooler. my pain melts away when i sit on it. i keep recommending it to all my disabled friends.i need it so much I’m actually scared of something happening to it. I’m considering buying a second back up gel to store in a safe location just in case.the best money i have ever spent in my entire life. no contest.

worth it!
Worth it. I have a cheap 400 dollar mattress right now. I used to own a purple but we had a flood and mold etc etc. This topper is fantastic. No more waking up sore and its super easy to wash the cover. I’ve had it for about a month now and its holding up great. I’m honestly considering taking it on vacation because i cant imagine not using it.

Tore after a few nights. Shifts too easy.
It tore already, and yes we had it in the black cover. Also it slides around very easily. Just poor quality.
